Pompeii. Well, it's old and broken and that's the best part of it.
Tip of the day: Wear good shoes. Do NOT wear sandals or high heels (we wore neither). Plan on being there for a good part of the day and I'd probably suggest getting the audio guide or a going with a tour group. We enjoyed wandering but without our trusty little map we wouldn't have known where the hell we were.
It's a fascinating place. Who knew one little volcano eruption could do such damage??
